Quick Snack- Basil and Cheese Sweet Mini Peppers

My friend and I made this dish today as a quick and filling snack, but it's also a really simple h'orderve to serve at gatherings and parties. The original recipe calls for 30 peppers which, in my opinion, is a LOT, so I'll show you how to make the snack version.

What You'll Need:
10 sweet mini peppers
5 tbs goat or cream cheese
3 tbs cup fresh chopped basil

What to Do:
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cut each pepper in half vertically, removing the seeds. Leave the stem for decoration.
3. Combine cheese and basil in a bowl, place about 1/2 tbs of the mixture into each pepper.
Wabam!
4. Arrange the peppers close together atop a baking sheet, place in oven.
5. Bake for 25 minutes or until peppers are crisp-tender.
I'd show you what they look like done, but they look pretty much the same as when they go in.

Serving Size: 1 half
Calories per Serving: 35

Enjoy your snack, but make sure you know when to stop ;)

Love,
