Here I was wishing I could eat a whole bag of cherries for dinner instead of the all too familiar veggie burger (Ohh so dull). Then I realized, why have one when you can have a little bit of both?! The experimenting began..
Here's a healthy, five minute meal for you. It's small but filling, around 250 calories.
Ingredients:
6 sweet cherries (I used ones with pits)
1 tbs hummus
1 Morning Star Veggie Burger
1 Thomas Whole Wheat Bagel Thin
1 tsp water
What to do:
2. Grab a small saucepan and place it on medium heat. Throw in your hummus and cherries. Moosh together as much as possible. Add water and cook until the mixture is completely purple. Salt to taste.
3. Heat veggie burger according to directions on package, warm burns, place cherry mixture onto pattie and... Voila! You have your lovely meal!
